Meet Our Staff
James A. Hosner DDS
I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in the small town of Vicksburg near Kalamazoo. I played the trumpet in band as well as basketball and tennis. After graduating with a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and my D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan, I happily moved away from the cold to sunny Fort Myers in 1984.
My wife, Tamara, and I love our 3 daughters, 1 son, and 2 doggies. We like taking family vacations to Disney World and national parks. I jog to stay in shape and like to play and watch tennis, basketball, Meeeeeechigan football, and catch a movie or two. I have enjoyed practicing dentistry in Lee County for 25 years and especially like cosmetic procedures where I can use my artistic ability to improve smiles. GO BLUE!
Denise - Hygienist
I was born in Illinois, but have lived in Lee County since 1978. I have been working with Dr. Hosner for 11 years. In addition to practicing Dental Hygiene and serving patients, I enjoy fishing and relaxing with my family.
Heleane - Hygiene Coordinator
I was born in New York. I cheerfully relocated to Ft. Myers in 2006. I've been working part-time as a Hygiene Coordinator at Dr. Hosner's for 1 year. I spend my spare time cheering for the Giants, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the beach with family, friend's and my husband of 4 years.
Donna - Receptionist
I was born on Long Island. I moved to Cape Coral to live on the water in August of 1983. I have been Dr. Hosner's receptionist for 12 years. My oldest daughter and one step-daughter attend USF, my younger daughter attends Edison College and my older step-daughter attends FGCU. When not in the office, I enjoy traveling, dining out and boating with my husband of 1 year or just relaxing by the pool with my family.
Nannette - Assistant
I was born in Deland, Florida, grew up in Ocala, moved to Ft Myers in 1981. I've been married for 28 years. I have been Dr. Hosner's assistant for 7 years. I have one daughter. I enjoy the beach and being active with the local school district. My spare time is spent enjoying my new granddaughter.
